The Samsung DC40E-M 40" Full HD Signage Display offers a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 and brightness rating of 450 cd/m2 making it suitable for use in retail outlets, malls, and entertainment avenues. The 2% haze level and slim d-LED BLU technology amplifies sharpness and clarity of images. In addition, the display comes with a built-in TV tuner and features a Clock Mode for setting the time automatically or manually.
The display features an embedded media player that supports JPEG, PNG, and BMP image formats and wide array of video formats. Displaying images, photos, and video clips of choice is as easy as simply plugging in a USB memory stick to the back of display. The embedded media player will start playing the contents from the USB memory stick right away. This eliminates the need for an additional PC and helps in saving space and reducing cable clutter.
The embedded media player extends the content management capability with the Magiclnfo server over a network connection. The Magiclnfo server can stream single or varying schedules of contents to multiple DCE Series displays installed at remote locations. The connection to Magiclnfo server also allows remote monitoring and management of the DCE Series displays. Device information, content playback schedules, software update, and various controls are all available remotely.
The display offers a host of connectivity options such as D-Sub, DVI, Component (CVBS Common), and 2 HDMI ports for supporting a wide array of source input devices. It also comes with RJ-45 and RS-232C ports for supporting convenient remote management. These optimized interfaces provide users with a simplified way to connect the DCE Series displays to the digital signage network as per their requirements. Users can connect to PCs and other compatible devices to display the content that is most relevant to an audience.
