Game on with the black Xbox One Wireless Controller (2015 Version) from Microsoft. New with this version are a 3.5mm stereo headset jack for compatible headsets, refined bumper buttons for more consistent performance along the full surface of the bumper, and wireless firmware updates.
Similar to the previous model, this controller features grips and contours that have been designed to fit a wider range of hand sizes and batteries that fit flush inside the controller body, allowing your hands to have more room to grip the controller. Vibration motors in the triggers provide fingertip feedback from weapons, crashes, and jolts for an immersive gaming experience. It also has a cross-shaped D-pad for improved sweeping and directional movements, thumbsticks which enable better grip and accuracy, and triggers designed for quicker access.
The controller will work via micro-USB cable (not included) with your Xbox One as well as PCs or tablets with Windows 7, 8, or 10 installed. You can even use it wirelessly with your PC or tablet using an Xbox Wireless Adapter (available late 2015).

- In addition to the exclusive expansion port with high-speed data transfer on the original version, this new controller features a built-in standard 3.5mm headset jack that accepts a variety of third-party headsets. All existing controller accessories will work with the updated controller, including the Stereo Headset Adapter for those who want the convenience of fingertip control for their audio.
The Xbox One wired headset and Xbox One stereo headset are not currently compatible with a PC when connected through the Xbox One controller. If you have one of these connected to your PC and want audio using one of these headsets, you must connect directly to the PC using the 3.5mm port on your PC.
