The 12 RU, black XRackPro2 Noise-Reduction Server Rack-Enclosure from XRackPro is a cabinet designed for noise reduction and security. It can be used for RAID storage and routers, and other systems such as Apple (Xserve server and Xserve RAID), Windows (Dell, HP, IBM, etc.), Linux, Sun, SGI, and other PC computer rackmount servers and storage devices.


Noise from the rackmount systems mounted inside the XRackPro2 12 RU server rack will be reduced by as much as 80% from the sound-dampening design, while keeping everything cool at the same time with three whisper-quiet fans. The external panels of the server rack are lined with acoustical foam, each door opening is sealed, and all wire grommets have foam inserts.

Additionally, the XRackPro2 features heavy-duty, steel construction and all rackmount servers, storage solutions, and other equipment stay visible through the sealed-glass front door. Carpet safe caster rollers are used to create a rolling rackmount enclosure that is sturdy, yet easy to move when needed. With the benefits of noise reduction, air filtration, security, and mobility of the XRackPro2, computer and audio/video equipment can now be used in environments where it could not before. A set of keys are also included.
