Our selection covers rooms from 150 all the way up to 550 square feet, with BTU ratings ranging from 5,000 to 12,000. Not sure what size you need? A good rule of thumb: a 5,000–6,000 BTU portable AC handles small rooms up to 250 sq. ft., an 8,000 BTU unit is the sweet spot for most bedrooms and home offices (up to 350 sq. ft.), and if you're cooling a large open living space, go with a 10,000–12,000 BTU model.

The majority of our portable air conditioners are Wi-Fi enabled and connect to the Hisense ConnectLife app or TCL Home app, so you can turn it on from your phone before you even walk in the door. Got a smart home setup? Many models are Alexa-compatible for voice control.
