The Bose SoundTouch Portable Series II Wi-Fi Music System in black is a compact speaker that allows you to wirelessly stream music from your smartphone, tablet or computer with the touch of a button. Using the free SoundTouch app, you can set up your SoundTouch system, assign Internet radio stations to one of its six presets, or even control multiple SoundTouch systems throughout your home. In addition to wireless connectivity, this unit features a 3.5mm input for connecting wired audio sources such as MP3 players.

The SoundTouch Portable Series II features an OLED display and includes an IR remote for system control. In addition to standard functions, the remote allows you select from your personalized presets and rate the music you're listening to. If you don't have a Wi-Fi network, this system also features a wired Ethernet connection.

With a width of 9.8", this system is designed to provide powerful sound from a compact speaker cabinet. For added portability, the SoundTouch Portable Series II has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The battery offers approximately 2.5 hours of music playback at the system's maximum volume level.

Bose SoundTouch App

The SoundTouch app lets you manage the music on your system. Use it to drag-and-drop music sources like Pandora favorites, playlists, Internet radio, and more to your six presets. You can also use the app to stream any song or station directly from a computer, smartphone or tablet. If you have more than one SoundTouch system in the home, you can use the app to play the same music everywhere or play different music in different rooms. The SoundTouch app is available for iOS, Android, and PC.
